Treatment
Chiropractic Care:
Chiropractors are licensed doctors who’s primary focus is the structural integrity of the spine and extremities. Chiropractors examine patients for subluxations, which are structural fixations which may occur within joints of the body. Through the use of chiropractic adjustment, the primary treatment method used, pain, inflammation and increase in range of motion occur but it doesn’t stop there. Besides pain, inflammation, and decreased range of motion, when joints are subluxated within the body, muscles become weak throwing off alignment and posture, and end organs; like heart, lungs, and digestive system may not function optimally. Throughout history there has been some misinformation regarding chiropractic adjustments. Although stroke is possible following a chiropractic adjustment of the neck, it is highly unlikely with a rate less than 1 in 1-3 Million. Given the history and testing we do in the clinic your case with reveal if cervical adjusting should not be performed for you. Additionally, if you are uncomfortable with your neck being adjusted, care can be modified in such a way to eliminate these types of techniques, still helping you with your case.
Cranial Work
The general public often thinks that the skull is made up of one bone, however this is not the case. There are many individual bones which form the skull. Occassionaly the bones of the skull lose their correct alignment, and health problems occur. Some example of health problems are headaches, dyslexia, sinus congestion, autism, ADD, poor digestion, ears and eye problems, heart problems and many other things. Dr Greszzczyszyn is versed in Applied Kinesiology and Turner Cranial Technique two technique which helps determine where cranial bones are malpositioned, and or fixed. Through the use of these techniques the whole patients health may be taken into consideration and the problem can be taken care of correctly.
Applied Kinesiology
Applied Kinesiology which is known as AK, is a system of using manual muscle testing used to help improve upon the information gathered through history and physical exams use to establish a correct diagnosis. AK uses various techniques to determine where structurally, chemically, and emotionally the patients underlying problems come from. Using AK Dr. Greszczyszyn can determine holistically what is the best treatment choice for the patient.
Allergy Testing and Desensitization
Through the use of AK Dr. Greszczyszyn is able to test patients for any chemical sensitivities to environmental, and or food allergens. After sensitivities have been found there is a treatment technique which can eliminate most sensitivities. With these same procedures Andrew is able to determine where nutritional deficiencies may lay and suggest diet, and supplementation recommendations to help improve the patients health and wellbeing.
Emotional Therapy
Most patients from time to time are bombarded with emotional stress which causes extra stress on the human frame causing or making illness or discomfort worse. By using various techniques Dr. Greszczyszyn is able to understand and treat the emotional side of health. These techniques are not only used for depression, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorders, but are very effective on simple conditioned responses which occurred during previous emotional insult. Very often emotions become exaggerated and emotions like grief or anger are not dealt with correctly. This results in what may sometimes be referred to as complex cases with no known cause. With these emotional therapies Andrew is able to not only determine the extent of how the mind is linked to these health problems, but give him a more solid understanding of the patients overall health. Additionally, Andrew uses these mental treatments to help individuals attain goal with less effort.

The ligaments of the foot function like plastic and in certain individuals, these ligament lose their support allowing the arch to fall. Although structural, chemical, and emotional therapies all may help support the arch of the foot from time to time, additional support is needed. During every new patient exam Dr. Greszczyszyn makes note of whether or not a patient needs orthotic foot support. If Andrew has determined that a patient needs orthotic support he will recommend and fit the patient for orthotics that visit. Many patients have additional company benefits which cover the cost of orthotics, which decreases the overall cost for the patient.

Biography
Dr. Andrew Greszczyszyn is a licensed Chiropractor who owns and operates the Toronto Chiropractic and Wellness Clinic. This clinic is located in downtown Toronto, Ontario. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences, which is located near Chicago, Illinois. Be fore chiropractic college Andrew received an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, while specializing in ergonomics. While at this university, Andrew was on the practice Football squad for two years, and then played Rugby in year four.
In clinic Andrew takes a holistic approach when examining and treating patients. Through the process of determining the patients’ problems he locates structural, chemical and emotional dysfunction which brings about health problems. First Appointment
To help make your first visit to Toronto Chiropractic and Wellness Clinic the best experience possible, a little bit about the first visit will be discussed here. This first meeting will provide you the opportunity to understand the cause of your health problems, and what treatments options are available.
You can expect this first visit to last approximately 60 minutes, which provides ample time for a detailed history, physical exam, and treatment should you wish to begin care. After the initial history, there will be procedures which consist of physical, neurologic, orthopedic, chiropractic, and applied kinesiology exams.
If after these basic examines more testing is needed, a referral to a more suitable health care provider will be made at this time. After finishing the exams a review of finding which helps you understand your condition will take place. Treatment will follow barring any medical necessity which are outside the scope of what I am able to perform.

Nutritional support may be in the form of diet recommendations, however at times this is not enough. What transpires in most if not all health problems, is a failure to meet the dietary needs for specific nutrients. Over time this leads to an ever increasing imbalance of these specific nutrients. Nutrient balance is something which is highly important to help establish health.
Through testing Andrew may determine what levels of specific nutrients are needed to help attain this chemical balance, eliminating previous health problems. Although many patients take multivitamins this does not address the balance between specific nutrients, which is generally one to three nutrients. Through testing Andrew is able to determine what specific nutrients are missing, and suggest supplements which will overcome this deficiency.
Most simple nutrients will not be sold in this clinic, however harder to find nutrients, and herbal remedies will be recommended and sold for a nominal delivery and storage fee.
